A Guide to Shopping for Wedding Candles

Whether you are getting married yourself, or you are in charge of planning a wedding of a close friend or relative, there are so many things to be taken care of in a wedding that you spend each day worrying that you are missing out something. This is because of the huge variety of things to worry about. You need to think about the venue, decide the guest list, decide the menu for the food and drink, but you also need to sweat the small stuff like the color of ribbons or the combinations of flowers.

Wedding Taper Candles

Let us take the example of candles. You would have noticed that candles in different shapes and sizes are part of the narrative in all weddings, and they are to be seen during different parts of the ceremonies. If you are entrusted with the task of arranging for all the candles to be used during the wedding ceremony, then you should know the difference between pillar candles and Wedding Taper Candles, you should be aware of where the candles would be used, and you should be aware of how much of a budget can be allocated to candles. Let us look at three modern types of candles used in weddings outside the usual wax ones :

Water Crystals & Pearls: This is a glass vessel with dry or live plant formations arranged in an artistic way. The crystals are dropped into the vessel around the plant. When they are ready for the wedding, the organizers simply pour water into the vessels, and the crystals absorb water and expand into beautiful colors and formations.

LED Lights and Strings: These are synthetic floral designs or other arrangements with small LED lights fitted inside. The LED bulbs and the outer decorations can have different colors to give a magical effect when they are switched on.

Flameless Candles: The shape of these decorations is similar to traditional candles and the burning wick is actually a transparent casing holding pink or red colored LED lights. The soothing ambiance of candles is yours without the risk of real flames.
